Electoral Commission Loses Commissioner-Lagos State

The Lagos State Commissioner, Independent Electoral Commission, Mr Lateef Raji, is dead. According to report, he died, early hours on Monday, at about 4am, after a brief illness.

The commissioner is from Ondo State, information gathered, revealed, he will be buried in his town Idoani, Ondo state, today.

However, “Raji was a former chairman of the defunct Alliance for Democracy, which later transformed to Action Congress of Nigeria, was also later merged with four other parties to form the All Progressives congress, (APC).

He was a Special Adviser on information to the ex-governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola.

The death of Lateef came when not expected, which brought shock to many people in his area at Oshodi, Lagos State, according to people, he was a good man.
