Nigeria Army Given 21 Days To End Operation Python Dance And Leave South East – [INC]

The Igbo National Council (INC), has given the Army Chief, General Tukar Burutal, final condition of 21 days to put to an end the recently launched [Operation Python Dance II] and with draw his men from the south east region.

This was disclosed in a statement released to newsmen in Owerri by its National President Chilos Godsent.

The release also warned that it would sue the Nigeria Army to the International Criminal Court, (ICC) for genocide against the South East region, if its demand was ignored.

According to the statement, “In view of the above, the Igbo National Council, INC, has analysed the state of the south east and the Nigerian state and hereby state the following.

“The Nigeria State is not at war with the people of south east Nigeria, and therefore wish to call on the president and commander in chief of Armed Force.

“The leadership of the National Assembly to mandate the Minister of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, to immediately withdraw the military arbitrarily deployed to South East to murder innocent civilians.

“If this is not adhered to with in twenty one days [21] the Igbo National Council, INC, will petition and also sue the Nigeria Army and the federal government, to International Criminal Court, ICC, for genocide against the armless people of the South east Nigeria. “
