As reported, there is a clash between Igbo traders and Hausa in Jos, the Plateau State capital.
Information from sources, several people have been injured along Rwang Pam street, an area said to be dominated by Igbos, at Ahmadu Bello area.
However, “Security Officials and the Police, stormed the area and calmed the situation.
One of the resident living in the area, Ojobo told newsmen that many shops and houses owned by Igbo traders had been destroyed.
“I barely escaped with my life as we speak. I don’t even know where my parents are right now.
“Many Igbos boys have been injured. Tell the police to come to our rescue,” Ojobo said.
The Governor had put curfew in Jos to restore peace and order.
