The President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, has returned back to Nigeria from his trip to New York City in the US after making a stopover in London, (UK).
The Presidential jet landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Monday night.
Buhari had left the country on Sunday, September 17 to attend the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Before he left for the trip, the presidency had hinted that President Buhari would travel through London on his way back from New York City.
No reason was given for the stopover, was not revealed, his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, had on Monday said the trip would not exceed Monday night.
