President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has arrived Yobe State on Wednesday for an official visit to the state.
Buhari arrived Damaturu with Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima and the presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu.
The president was welcomed by the Governor of Yobe State, Ibrahim Geidam.
Buhari’s visit came three weeks after gunmen believed to be Boko Haram abducted 110 schoolgirls at Dapchi, a village 101km away from Damaturu.
He is also expected to fly to Dapchi where he is to hold a town-hall meeting with parents of the Dapchi missing schoolgirls.
