PHOTONEWS: Dapchi residents wave as Boko Haram convoy leaves town

Boko Haram members on Wednesday freed dozens of abducted Dapchi school students.

The fully armed sect members who returned the girls moved into the town in a number of vehicles. “Daily Post reports

Residents can be seen waving at the insurgents who covered their faces.

Boko Haram had in February stormed the Government Girls School in Yobe.

110 of the students were taken to an unknown location.

Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered four ministers to proceed to Dapchi in Yobe for update on the release of the female students.

The Ministers include Mansur Dan-Ali, Defence; Abdulrahman Danbazau, Interior; Lai Mohammed, Information; and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mrs Khadijat Abba-Ibrahim.
