See: Real Madrid turn to Villas-Boas as new manager

Real Madrid have approached Andre Villas-Boas over the possibility of him becoming their new head coach.

RMC reports that the European champions would be willing to appoint the portuguese, who has coached Chelsea and Zenit St Petersbury in the past, but is currently out of work.

Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the 40-year-old, who left Shanghai SIPG in November 2017.

Real are on the look out for new manager, following Zinedine Zidane’s resignation last month.

Zidane left the role, after winning a third successive Champions League title.

Other managers who have been linked with the vacant position, include Mauricio Pochettino, Arsene Wenger and Antonio Conte.
