Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria, has on Thursday resumed work as a facilitator and academic counsel at the National Open University [NOUN].
Obasanjo had resumed work at the University’s study centre in Abeokuta, in Ogun State.
The former president met with two final year students of Christian Theology, Toriola Abigael and Elijah Egehedi Oke, assigned to him for supervision.
Just of recent Olusegun Obasanjo got a PhD on Christian Theology from the tertiary institution which made him the first to bag such in the West African sub-region.
The Director of the Abeokuta study centre, Prof. Ibrahim Salawu, has on Monday announced the office allocation to Olusegun Obasanjo.
Salawu noted, it became necessary following his appointment as a facilitator in January this year.
The Director, led Obasanjo and other members of staff on a familiarization tour of the centre, stated “I am very pleased to have a former president of Nigeria as a colleague in the academia.”
