Thank God: Nigerian Government declares Tuesday, Wednesday, as public holidays

Federal Government has declared Tuesday and Wednesday, August 21 and 22 as public holidays to mark the 2018 Eld-el-Kabir celebration.

General Abdulrahman Dambazau (Rtrd), who is the Minister of Interior, disclosed this in a statement issued by the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Mohammed Umar, on Thursday.

The Minister of Interior, who wished Nigerians a happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration, enjoined the citizens to use the period to embrace the virtues of love and sacrifice for the unity and development of the country.

He advised Nigerians both at home and abroad to support the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari in its determination to foster a peaceful and united Nigeria.
