See! Transfer: What Real Madrid President secretly said about Chelsea’s £220m for Hazard

Real Madrid have reportedly told Chelsea that their forward, Eden Hazard, was not worth the £220 million they placed on his head.

Chelsea, who never wanted to part ways with the Belgian, placed the huge amount on him in order to scare potential buyers, such as Real Madrid away.

Real President Florentino Perez was eager to bring Hazard to Bernabeu this summer following Cristiano Ronaldo’s defection to Juventus.

French pundit, Fred Hermel told RMC that Chelsea’s refusal to budge to their asking price turned off Florentino.

Hermel further explained that Perez told close sources that the Belgian is not worth that kind of fee being bandied by Chelsea.

Hermel said, “There was a player who we really liked, it’s Eden Hazard, but Chelsea claimed €220m.

“For the Madrid leaders there are only two players who can justify such an expense: Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.”
