The former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Uzor Orji Kalu, has revealed what he discussed with President Muhammadu Buhari before he [Kalu] joined the All Progressives Congress, APC.
According to Kalu, now a chieftain of the APC President Buhari had promised to start and complete some projects in the South East.
In a series of tweets on Sunday, the former Governor expressed gladness that Buhari has gone far in fulfilling the promises.” Daily Post reports.
He wrote, “I met President @MBuhari a week before I joined the APC @OfficialAPCNg precisely on 8th of November, we catalogued the new Niger Bridge, Port Harcourt/Enugu/Umuahia Express Road; Enugu/Awka/ Onitsha Express road; Nitemile to Makurdi road.
“Okigwe/Arondizogu to road; Ohafia/Arochukwu and today they are under construction while some are nearing completion.
“I am glad that @MBuhari has resolutely pursued the completion of these and other projects across the nation.”
